awkwardness is my kryptonite. awkward situations that im not involved in make me laugh. awkward situations that im thrust into make me want to cry. awkward situations that im then blamed for because i didnt talk because it was so awkward make me really fucking angry.





i have a very small youth group at my church. theres a kid that goes there whos a few years younger me. im great friends with his older brother, but his older brother is on a boy scout trip in philmont, hiking in the mountains, not taking showers or wearing deoderent because of bears. the little kid, griffin, and i, were the last two people in our youth group still at church. we are friends. we are not close friends. we are not dating, which would be gross, because he's three years younger than me, not even in highschool. but we talk, because hes much more mature than his fellow seventh graders. apparently, my granddad thought that we were besties or dating or something. he told my father to invite him to lunch. not his family. just him.



awkward situation ensues.





more later, im off to youth now, going to apologize to griffin for the super awkward lunch and whatnot.
